About Capping
Capacity capping on inverters ensures that the AC power output from the renewable energy installation does not exceed the approved capacity. This certificate must be completed by the installer to confirm proper capping has been implemented.

Important Requirements:
- The capping must be set to the approved AC capacity as stated in the Letter of Intent
- A clear screenshot of the inverter settings showing the capped power must be attached
- The certificate must be signed by a qualified installer and the applicant
- For solar PV installations, the installed DC capacity of solar panels shall not exceed 2% of the proposed AC capacity
- This certificate must be submitted along with the Certificate of Installation
